The sentence is of the actor and Italian singer Adriano Celentano and gives the tone of one of the places that Buenos Aires proposes and made that share a drink or a coffee will be more than one simple exit.

We are discovering the culinary course of Buenos Aires of today which does not forget its best traditions.

The Bar and Restaurant Regio are nested in a corner of the city which, if it suffered from the transformations, keeps its identity however.

In the heart of the district of Palermo, close to the railway of the north of the city, this address since 1951 and was formerly a 'drunkery', was taken again and development.

Favio Lavitola and Mariana de Rosa, chefs and creators unclassable, added the name of Nino to the Regio original in homage to the type-setter Nino Rota, alter musical ego of large Federico Fellini.

This place preserves a climate of the Italian neorealism with its old siphons, its boxes of biscuits, its refrigerators, its ground, its chairs and its tables d'époque.

At Regio Nino it is possible to benefit from an environment of the Italian and French musics, of Happy Hour between 18h and 20h with a cup of champagne and one 'spanish omelette' for $10 (some 3,3 u$s) or to taste Spanish ham, bruschetas or to buy Brie or goat's milk cheese, rare thing in Argentina.

The afternoon of Regio Nino are decorated gastronomiquement with 'licuados' (shake) of fruits of wood, with delicious Argentinian sandwich, or 'alfajores' of raspberry and chocolate.

At dinner the menu is typically porteño: escalope of porc sirloin, Argentinian 'puchero', vegetable raviolis and others.

The prices are very correctly and because the place is small (10 tables for 20 customers) it is not possible to reserve.

Visit the toilets it is like returning in a child birthday party: cotillions, garlands, mirrors with feathers, dolls and small cars of competition.

If you lose the road let guide itself by lights of color along the pavement which, like a village fair, will show you the way to you to arrive till your destination.
