This Cd proposes two artists: Julia Vidal y su conjunto and Hermanas Beron y su conjunto.
They are artists who belong to the world of the folklore, the traditional musics, the musics of the country-side. When one says the country-side in Argentina, one refers to all Argentina except Buenos Aires.
Julia Vidal begins her career in 1940 singing Chorra the famous tango of Discépolo, and she had a great success. Then Julia Vidal change and song folk musics with a big succesfull all over Latin America.
Her voice is fascinating, captivating. A clear voice, a remarkable diction which makes us feel her physical presence.
In this Cd the repertory is especially made up of folklore songs and also a poignant interpretation of the tango-vals Desde el alma and two tangos Mano a mano and Maula.

Rosa and Elba Beron, born in a important artistic family. They create their Duet in 1946 and work together till 1957 when Rosa Beron settles in Mexico.
They song popular folkl music: cueca, milonga, zamba, chacarera, chamamé. All this so rich and so lovely musical space which is that of the traditional popular musics.
The first recorded are from 1953. Elba Beron song in the orchestra of Anibal Troilo and they remain to us several recordings of this collaboration.
This Cd enables us to contact beautiful moments of the Argentinian song.
