Band: Tarres Fernando Label: BAU
Fernando Tarrés, follows the steps of large Astor Piazzolla. Thus, it continues to blur the arbitrary lines which separate the popular music from the classical music.
To speak about his seventh album, Camorreando, it is enough for us to quote two international press comments: "the destiny of Piazzolla is shared by Fernando Tarrés: his music takes root in the Argentinian folklore, built carefully, requires excellent musicians to interpret it and is impossible to classify ".
"Concentrated and communicative, the musicians of Arida Conta follow Tarrés in his musical microcosm, probably showing the new way in the freedom of improvisation" Süddeutsche Zeitung (Germany)
"the guitarist and his group arrive to a brilliant fluidity and a not less astonishing naturality of expression. The proposal is diluted in spaces of an enormous freedom of harmony and in extremely picturesque solos ". Diego Fischerman - Cuadernos de Jazz (Spain).
