Rubén Rada is an Uruguyan, brilant and popular artist.

He belongs to this generation of Uruguyan musicians who plunged in the candombe, the popular rhythm par excellence in Uruguay.

These musicians went up the river of its history and they add some other musical touch that modernize the candombe, respecting its soul.

Thus this beautiful music remained alive and moving. Certain keys come from the jazz, this other American music on black origins.

The interpretation is excellent and the pieces compose the Cd make us live the Uruguyan popular music, and by extension that of Rio of Plata, in all its vibrating topicality.
