This album proposes what Di Sarli had recorded at the beginning of his career on RCA Victor in 78 turns.

At that time it was common to see trainings of six musicians, named already Orquesta Tipica .

Di Sarli, who will became one of the major figures of the tango, show us his talent from his first time as musicien.


Many ot the tango that we found in this cd are inedits or no so much knowed by the public. They belong to the tango period we know as Guardia Vieja .

Some pieces are sung by the splendid voices of Fernando Diaz, Ernesto Fama and Santiago Devicenzi, a lyric singer. It is told that Devicenzi had his night of glory when he full the theatre where he sing and, the same night Gardel made empty room. Just an anecdot.
