We are in the glorius decade of the tango. In a period with many orchestras like those of Arienzo, Troilo, Fresedo, Calo, Di Sarli.... was very succesfully.

Di Sarli had already acquired a certain glory.

His orchestra counted singers and famous musicians, his music made fury, the dancers loved.

Its logic ! To dance with the music of Di Sarli is to be in an almost perfect balance between the two components of a music: rhythm and melody.
It a reason that profesors encourage dansers to ever level to dans on Di Sarli.

We find among the jewels of this Cd, the first recording of the Di Sarli tango Milonguero viejo, as some tango that was at these time missed for several years: Ensueños, Barba de choclo, El distinguido ciudadano, El once and Comme il faut. These last three pieces had been published only in 78 rpm; the versions appeared then out of Cd are recordings on the '50.

Here two big singers: Roberto Rufino and Jorge Duran.
