The pianist, composer and director Carlos Figari start his career of musician very young. In the '30 he worked with Antonio Sureda and thereafter in the mythical group of Garcia Los Zorros grises.

He was on the orchestra directed by Astor Piazzolla who accompanied the singer F. Fiorentino, then he work with A. Troilo until in 1954 when he create his own orchestra.

To listen to interpretations of Carlos Figari is a fantastic jolt. Happiness, power, great tango, so present and involving. A truth tanguero cannot prohibit himsel to listen and have the music of Figari.

The orchestra of Joaquin Do Reyes recorded only six topics at the Label Victor. Previously he had recorded at TK, now disappeared. There were so many beautiful voices at Do Reyes and no one did not forget that of Tito Reyes.

The tango suggested by Do Reyes sounds just. One notices the pulsations so characteristic of this orchestra which had initially and before all concern the dancers, by marking the rhythm, us the orchestras of Enrique Rodriguez or Florindo Sassone did.

Let us not forget that at Do Reyes played Elvino Vardaro, Francisco Mancini, and others big musiciens.
