From Edgardo Donato we know especially what he recorded on the Thirties and Forties. Few pieces from the Fifties was made on Cd.

Donato had not recorded for 5 years when the Label Odeon created a new label, the famous: Pampa.

The first which was invited to record was Edgardo Donato. He was then surrounded by musicians of the dimension of Antonio Galeazzi, Arturo Penon, Jsé Votti, and very beautiful voices, as it was appropriate for an Orquesta Tipica. Among these voices let us notice those of Carlos Ahumada, Adolfo Rivas, Nilda Marino.

This orchestra knew a great popularity, and the arrangements of Fernando Cordoba, Luis Pereyra and Dante Smurra was very appreciated. That of the tango Sencillo pero vistoso is of a particulate beauty, and it offer to the musiciens the possibility to show their talents.
