Pedro Laurenz has an important and determinate place in the tango history: composer, inter alia works of one of the more famous milonga: Milonga de mis amores.

He was one of the more important bandoneonist of this history, major piece in the orchestra of Julio de Caro during almost 10 years, and also member of unforgettable Orquesta Tipica Victor.

In spite of his importance and his long activity in the music, Laurenz did not record so much, like made others largest Maestros: Canaro, D' Arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo .....

In this Cd he is with his own orchestra and recordings from 1937 to 1943 and, for our great pleasure, with incredible pieces, several his own compositions: Milonga de mis amores with a sung version by Héctor Farrel, that adds to its interest, as well as De puro guapo, the waltz Mascarita, Es mejor perdonar …

This repertory include one ranchera: Enamorao, rhythm of argentinian north-east, which one also finds in other areas, very happy rhythm that even tango dancers can dance.

We hear the voices of Hector Farrel, Juan Carlos Casas, Martin Podesta, Alberto del Campo, Anibal Fuentes and Alberto Podesta.
