Roberto Calo stard his artistic career in the years 1930. He was an actor, singer and will join, as singer, the orchestra of his brother Miguel with whom he will remain from 1938 till 1940.

At the beginning of the years 1940 with his brother Juan they will create their orchestra who will play till the end of the decade.

Between 1950 and 1958 Roberto Calo and his orchestra will record about sixty titles in several labels.

Osvaldo Berlinghieri, Osvaldo Tarantino, Ernesto Franco, Eduardo Rovira, Leo Lipesker, Simon Bajour were among different excellent musicians that this orchestra had the chance to have.

Many singers passed by this formation among the best than the kind counted then: Larroca Oscar, Carlos Roldan, Enrique Campos, Jorge of Peña, Roberto Rufino, Rodolfo Galé, Tito Reyes, Hector of Rosa.....

The tango deployed by Roberto Calo has a great rigour of interpretation and a strong promptness. This orchestra was very appreciated by a public of experts.
