If Buenos Aires is the motherland and the compost of the tango, and is there that the great history was written, one should not forget two other Argentinas cities which also accomodated the tango and great names gave to it: Ciriaco Ortiz, Domingo Federico, Ruben Juarez and José Sala.
Native of Rosario, the Argentinian Chicago because the importance as a cereal port, Sala knew from his beginnings in the '30 's a great successes but recorded only since 1953.
The José Sala' orchestra played in the mythical Tango Bar at Calle Corrientes and like so many groups of this time it play in many radio shows.
Composed primarily by artists from Rosario, let us note the presence of Antonio Agri to the violin, which then was the large violonist of Astor Piazzolla. Another virtuos succed him: Reynaldo Nichele.

This Cd propose un a repertory of 15 titles from the José Sala record production, and some productions of the very great Alfredo Gobbi recorded in 1958. We have the pleasure to hear the voice of Tito Lando and Alfredo del Rio. We can hear the same topic Adios corazon recorded by one and the other of two singers.
Gobbi remains like one of the most astonishing musicians and among most refined tango, admired by his pars, loved by experts and that the highly skilled dancers appreciate to dance.
