Band: Cuarteto San Telmo The meeting between Leopoldo Federico and Roberto Grela belongs to these great moments of the tango history.
They creates in 1965 the so beautiful El Cuarteto San Telmo. To the bandoneonist and the guitarist joined Ernesto Baéz, second guitar and Ramon Arias with the double bass.
This Cuarteto worked very much, it was very requested by the public of Buenos Aires, so much that, tired because so many activities, Grela decide to stop the group.
In addition to the masterliness of their interpretations the Cuarteto had a refineted esthetics, bien tanguera that experts and amateurs appreciated so much.
In 1966 they will make their first recordings published by the title of Tangos de Siempre. This Cd reproduces these recordings.
