Author: Tarantino Luis The lapse of memory
In the years 1960, with the arrival of new
rates/rhythms, like the Rock'n'roll & Roll, the Tango knows a certain
decline in its own country.
The radios and the chains of television remove the programs live
of Tango and the cinema forgets its artists: the media are too
occupied selling imported music.
In spite of the ostracism to which the Tango is then condemned,
many are the artists who do not cease renewing themselves:
Leopoldo Federico, Eduardo Rovira, Julian Plaza, Astor
Piazzolla, Horacio Salgan or, in the art of poetry: Horacio To
shoe and Eladia Blazquez.
