Horacio Salgan is, with Astor Piazzolla, the most
important figure of the medium of the years 1950 until the years 1980.
Without disavowing the roots of the Tango, it makes evolve/move
its orchestrations, first of all with its own orchestra, then with Quinteto Real and the duet Salgan/of Lio.
As for the pianist Mariano Mores, it continues in the purest
tradition of the orchestral Tango, like had developed it before its
Master Francisco Canaro.
Leopoldo Federico, which plays in the orchestras of Gobbi,
Salgan and Octeto Buenos Aires d' Astor Piazzolla, works out a style
more personal with its orchestra and introduced certain elements of
the traditional tango to modern orchestrations.
We must also notice a certain number of musicians among whom the
pianists Osvaldo Manzi, Osvaldo Berlingieri and Colangelo, which
worked in the orchestra of Anibal Troilo, as well as the bandoneonists
Ernesto Baffa and Raul Garello. These musicians knew to
give to their own formations, thereafter, the orchestral concept of
Troilo, which worked until its death in 1975.
The bandoneonist Eduardo Rovira appears in the orchestra of
Alfredo Gobbi and mixes the roots ' tangueras' with the traditional
baroques, Bach or Haendel. He develops a single music in the
contemporary Tango, and from this style will emerge the
intérmédiaire generation, represented by Daniel Binelli, Juan
Mosalini, Rodolfo Mederos, Julio Pane, Lisandro Adrover, Nestor
Marconi and Domingo Moles.
