Author: Tarantino Luis "Argentino Tango" and the Turn of the World
In the years 1970, the bandoneonists Shine Stazo
and Libertella created one of the formations most representative and
brilliant of the history of the Tango: Sexteto
Mayor. This one takes part in 1983, as head of
poster of the spectacle Tango Argentino.
This spectacle, produced by Argentinian the Carlos Segovia and
Héctor Orezzoli for the Festival of Autumn of Paris, makes it
possible the Tango to find its radiation on the international scene.
From this major event, the Tango found glory, prestige and the
success which it had of the time of Gardel.
Lastima, bandoneón,
semi corazon
you ronca maldición maleva...
You lágrima of ron
me lleva
hasta el hondo bajo fondo
donde el barro subleva.
¡Ya sé, No me digás! ¡Tenés razón!
Emptied are una herida absurda,
y be todo tan fugaz
how be una curda, ¡nada más!
semi confesión."
Ultima Curda (Extracted the text from Catulo Castillo, music of
Anibal Troilo)
