The Tango was always a culture which absorbed the
elements of other cultures.
Thus the bandoneonist Dino Saluzzi became one of the major
musicians of the catalogue of the German label ECM with his work which
amalgamates the tango with the elements of the jazz and the
Argentinian folklore.
In the same way, the pianist Pablo Ziegler, who during twelve
years worked with Piazzolla, works out his music with elements of the
jazz.
The young pianist Adrian Iaies recreates tangos by using the
traditional formation of the trio of jazz (piano, double bass,
percussions), the bandonion in more (Pablo Mainetti); and a
freer language in its forms produces, near to the improvisation.
The group Baffled It amalgamates its tango with the elements of
the rock'n'roll, the song and of candombé, and thus incorporates a
more festive spirit.
In Europe, the bandoneonist Marcelo Nisinman surprises with his
atonalities applied to the tangos, which it arranges in particular for Tango Orkestret a Danish group but
also currently in writing of a opera-tango.
