you to approach and discover the Tango well. 1. El Album of Oro de Carlos Gardel/Carlos Gardel
(EMI 7 98318 2). One of the best selections of greatest
creations of the best singer of tangos. In these CDs,
traditional titles of its films, with orchestra, and of the tangos
where Gardel is accompanied by guitarists.
2. Julio de FM Caro Tango para Usted (BMG 74321 19666-2).
A selection of best works of the formation which is at the
origin of the romantic and elaborate tango.
3. Todo Sosa of FM Tango para Usted/Julio Sosa (Sony
2-470025). A selection of best interpretations of "Varon LED
Tango" accompanied by the Orchestras by Armando Pontier and Leopoldo
Federico. Sosa appears, in several of its interpretations, at
the same time hard and tender. This CD contains, enter other,
"Cambalache" of Discépolo.
4. Anibal Troilo: Obra Completa in RCA (BMG volume 1
to the 18). Final versions of the orchestra symbol of the Tango.
We find here, the bandoneonnist Anibal Troilo in all creations
of its orchestra accompanied by all its singers. The best tango
since 1940 up to 1974 joined together out of 18 CDs, where the genius
of Troilo is reflected perfectly.
5. Carlos Di Sarli y known orquesta tipica/instrumental
(BMG 74321 41297-2). A selection necessary of the "Señor LED
Tango", one of the preferred orchestras of the dancers of tango.
To listen to this musical formation is a great pleasure.
6. Tangos para el Mundo/Juan D' Arienzo y known orquesta
tipica (BMG 74321 41276-2). One of best CD of this orchestra
which marked the rate/rhythm of the Tango. Among the titles of
the disc: "Cumparsita".
7. Los Mejores Instrumental/Osvaldo Pugliese y known
orquesta (EMI 8 28627 2). The great classic of Maestro Osvaldo
Pugliese: "Yumba" and "Recuerdo" in this excellent CD.
8. Appointment Porteño/Osvaldo Fresedo (Acqua Records
AQDP 002). D"inoubliables topics of elegant and refined
orchestra of the bandoneonist Osvaldo Fresedo. In this CD, we
find topics recorded in concert: "Emptied Mia", "Adios
Muchachos", "Preludio N° 3" and "Capricho de Amor" played the Cabaret
Go, whose Fresedo was the owner, in company of the trumpet player
Dizzy Gillespie.
9. Concierto Quinteto para/Astor Piazzolla (BMG 74321
23172 - 2). The works recorded by Piazzolla in 1971 with its
Quintet and a soloist. Among them: "Primavera Porteña",
"Invierno Porteño", topics for solo of bandonion and the music of
film "Idiot Alma Emptied there".
10 Astor Piazzolla - Roberto Goyeneche (BMG 74321 18920
2). They are versions recorded initially in studio then in
public. Among them, "Strolled para Loco", "Cambalache", "Ultima
curda", "Garua", and the instrumental ones like "Muerte del Angel" and
"Tristezas of Doble A". This CD offers to us a communion of love
between Piazzolla and Goyeneche.
11 That lo Paren/Eduardo Rovira (Acqua Records AQ 004).
Two vinyls joined together in only one CD of excellent invoice
which delivers to us the work of a genius of the Tango: the
bandoneonist Eduardo Rovira.
12 Embajadores LED Tango/Sexteto Mayor (EMI 8340752).
Recording in public in a concert given in Germany of this
formation which returned in the world the Tango. Tangos to be
danced and listen.
13 Farmhouse Tango/Adriana Varela (Nueva Direccion in
Cultura - CDND 447). It acts of a ripe work of the singer who
integrates modern esthetics into the Tango. It is accompanied by
exceptional musicians with a repertory of exquisite tangos.
14 Mow Tardecitas de Minton' S/Adrian Iaies Trio (Acqua
Records AQ 031/032). This pianist with his trio of Jazz
reinvents the traditional tangos. We find a version ' tanguera'
"Midnight Round" of Thelonius Monk.
15 Cabulero/Orquesta El Arranque (BAM - EPSA 17162).
Second CD of the best orchestra from a young tango which picks
in the years ' 40 and ' 50 and is projected towards the future.
We can hear orchestral Tango of the first quality and sung
versions of the tangos of anthology.
16 Tangos y Canciones Criollas/Alfredo Saéz (BAM - EPSA
17160). This young person and talented singer with the accents '
gardeliens' offers to us Tangos, Valses and Milongas, accompanied by
guitars.
