The tango musical production, all over its incredible and splendid history, is considerable.
Because the important number of orchestras and interpreters, the extraordinary production of works or by the significant number of recordings carried out.
The very great requirement for quality to which many artists obligeate themselves, pushed some of them to record several times the same piece.
These production appear on 78 rpm, 45, 33 turns, then the in audio K7 to arrive finally to Cd's production.
Between the years 1960 and 1990 tango did not have an important public; the recordings thus were rarer. This can explain why a considerable number of recordings of the glorious decades (of the years ' 20 at the years ' 50) neither were published nor republished.
They is recently that members of Buenos Aires Tango Club, experts, academicians and professionals on tango, had the initiative to give again life to this immense and splendid musical inheritance, remained in the lapse of memory, by a splendid technical conditioning, research task, methodology at the same time interesting and very useful for the tango lovers. Thus was born the collection from the label Euro Records.
The inheritance on which the team of Euro Records works is that of the Archives of labels, some of them disappeared (Music Hall, TK, Stentor...) and from recordings remained in the lapse of memory in the files from large companies (RCA Victor, CBS, Columbia, Odeon...).
The Euro Records collections are organise in several Series: Ediciones propias / Archivo TK / Coleccion 78 rpm / Archivo Columbia / Archivo Odeon / Archivo RCA
