Major cultural fact of the XXème century, the tango is the passport of Argentina in the whole world.
Some especially live - or imagine - the tango through the dance of couple, impassioned and sensual. For others, it takes all itsmeasurement with the powerful sounds of its music. For others still, it is expressed by poetry.
Culture with whole share, the tango is all that at the same time. And much more still: it incarnates the response of a population resulting from the immigration engaged in a formidable human adventure: to build a nation! To take part in the birth and the division of a new country, a new company, founded on a common culture.
This exposure proposes to you to traverse the history of the tango, to leave while following its principal protagonists to discovered its innumerable facets, more obvious with most unexpected.
Alive culture the Tango is always moving, as well in its fatherland of origin as in its countries of adoption.

Divided into a series of 7 chapters, the exposure is declined on 21 panels and band approximately a 60 minute old.
A panel of introduction to contact geographical and social space, where this culture was born and where it developed, Argentina and the area of Rio of Plata, cradle of the tango.
Chapter 1: The Tango - a whole culture
They are treated the origins of the tango and the elements which contributed to its birth. Notes describing the town of Buenos Aires, of the elements founders, the immigration and the first moments of its gestation with his/her fathers founders.

If the dance is a very strong representative imagetango, it is however the music which has the major share in this culture. Four panels to discover its evolution, its richnesses and the determining characters of all its times.
