A history of tango

This is the history of an idea as splendid as necessary.

The musicians of the tango, from it begeening and for some decades, had the possibility of creating, of developing their capacities of interpretation, because they had the possibility to play often and be in contact with many musicians.

After the passion for the tango went down this possibility become rare.

At this time musicians were close to many orchestras and musicians, having the posibility to discover the differents styles to play tango: the Di Sarli style, that of Canaro, Pugliese, D'Arienzo, Gobbi, Calo, Fresedo......

The tango for ball took again its force on the decade of 1990 thanks to the interest which he knows in Europe, then in other countries.

The musicians were to relearn the styles of this tangoto be danced. Ignacio Varchausky had the happy idea to create a structure which is at the same time a kind of Academy, of a School, so that the younger generations of musicians can contact this diversity in manners of making tango.

So it born the Escuela Orquesta de Tango and Emilio Balcarce, the great composer and musician, assumes at its beginnings the direction. Je was very recently replaced by Raul Garello.

An excellent initiative, a remarkable work, a film of great quality, a film produce a stong emotion.
